I'm learning that the cooking time is different for the different meats. The newer slow cookers are hotter than the old ones and I have overcooked meats a couple of times.Mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15827592135612785434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728171562265557074.post-22286048388038413612017-02-11T11:37:31.562-05:002017-02-11T11:37:31.562-05:00Yes, I didn't think about my can opener until ...Yes, I didn't think about my can opener until a week ago. :-/ Thanks for the beef link. I'm going out on a limb with.........pork! I could make 6 1/2 trips to the store to your one! It's a 13-mile round trip to the closest store for me. And it's not my favorite one!

PS--this recipe is excellent with stew beef, too. Here are directions for that versions:
http://thegrandmothergig.blogspot.com/2016/03/teriyaki-beel-with-pineapple.htmlMimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15827592135612785434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728171562265557074.post-50532850213585943972017-02-11T09:50:22.137-05:002017-02-11T09:50:22.137-05:00You're a good grammy nurse! They do. Yeah! I can't do my can opener yet. (That's because I've used the most basic hand-held kind my whole life.) Question for you...out of curiosity. How often do you make a grocery run? I'm conservatine on runs, but I pass a store on my way the and from work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
