One year ago today, Mommy was exhausted, Daddy was dazed (having just flown back from Europe hours before), Big Sister was excited and Granddaddy and I were proud as punch! Baby Sister--who obviously had not checked the agenda--arrived weeks early and was in a hurry to get here. Mommy barely got to the hospital. Baby Sister was born 29 minutes after they pulled into the parking lot. She weighed 4 lb. 8 oz.
The almost three weeks in NICU seemed as long as the next three months. But here we are, a year later. Baby Sister is happy, healthy and finally has two teeth! (See the last photo.)
